As you all know I am still at uni (Bachelor of Design) so I thought I would show you one of my more recent assignments. We were briefed to create a zine - to and from ourselves, expressing ourselves as designers outside of the work we have done. The theme of my zine was Don't Make Yourself Too Comfortable. What is shown above is a representation of me - the anxious, cluttered, nervous and the chaotic.
I am never truly comfortable with the work I produce and forever striving for the next bigger and better thing to jump into. I love exploring different mediums and love everything and anything tactile. Outside of that the zine represents my mind at any one point in time and all at once - utter chaos.
This zine is everything I love - texture, flowers, nice paper, scanner dirt, mind notes, the stars, the hand drawn - all at once (naturally).
I hope by flicking through the zine you get a better sense of who I am and how my brain works.
